You've reached the home of Railroad House, a six piece acoustic band. Thank you for visiting our site!
Not strictly a Bluegrass band, we play a range of material that is Bluegrass based; but pulls in Jazz, Country, Rock, and Blues, and it doesn't stop there. We're just playing tunes we like, and having a blast doing it! We have six pieces in the band, and are playing instruments typically used in a Bluegrass configuration. Most of our tunes feature 2, 3, or 4-part vocal harmonies.

Check out this video from a recent performance we gave at the Mole Hill Theatre, Alstead New Hampshire. The place is a working machine shop by day, and sometimes doubles as a night club--as you watch this, notice the stage is built in between some huge pieces of machinery:
You'll find a bunch of sound files on the Listen page--mainly a mix of recordings from live perfomances for you to check out.
We just added some cuts recorded at Stone's Public House recently. Please come join us there the first and third Wednesdays of each month for a fun evening of acoustic music- details here!
On the Gallery page, you'll find some photos, including some from a recent wedding we played where there was a "Railroad" theme because the couple got married on the commuter rail. You might have seen this one in various local newspapers or TV news broadcasts-- in fact here's one article covering it. Fun wedding, fun theme, and the photos came to us courtesy of Eric Limon Photography.
